In character! Amber Rose took to Instagram on August 2 to reveal an unrecognizable hair and makeup look. In two separate shots, the Amber Rose Show star, 32, looked completely different in a '60s-era brunette wig.

Aside from her voluminous updo's length and color — which is drastically different from her normally buzzed platinum blonde style — the mom of Sebastian, 3, also rocked ice-blue-colored contacts (her eyes are typically brown).

To complete her transformation, Rose sported an intense black smoky eye, strong brown brows and a bright pink lip, lined with a slightly darker shade.

The MuvaMoji creator's makeover wasn't all play. She confirmed that the drastically different glam was for an upcoming episode of her VH1 talk show. "Makeup by @priscillaono #AmberRoseShow," she captioned her second image.

This isn't the first time Rose has dallied with wigs for the series. On the Friday, July 22, episode, she wore a platinum blonde Marilyn Monroe hairpiece while weighing in on the feud between her ex-boyfriend Kanye West and Taylor Swift.

“I want to talk about Kim and Kanye’s Snapchat,” Rose said, before explaining how Kimye slammed Swift over the song “Famous” in July. "I'm not the biggest fan of Kanye. But I will say this: I was next to him at the VMAs [in 2009] and … I remember the repercussions after that. … He was so remorseful. … I know that Kanye would never, ever go through that again by not calling Taylor and say, 'Heads up, I'm about to go write this verse real quick. Just wanted to make sure you're cool with it.'"

Rose then turned the tables on West, sassily asking why she didn't get the same courtesy. "I say all of that to say: Why didn't I get a phone call for using a naked wax figure in your video, Kanye?" Rose told cameras, referring to West’s controversial “Famous” music video, which features multiple famous faces naked in bed with the musician. "I mean, Taylor gets a call, but I don't get a call. … Please stay the f–k out of the news so I don't need to talk about your ass anymore."
