That’s quite the private show. Jimmy Kimmel wasn’t dreaming when he awoke to Britney Spears performing in his bedroom. The “Make Me” singer surprised the late-night host by showing up at his home in the middle of the night and pulling off the ultimate prank.
Kimmel, 48, shared a sneak peek of the action on Twitter on Wednesday, August 3, writing, “Pranked in my sleep again. @BritneySpears & @Rihanna must be working together.”

In the clip, the pop superstar, 34, arrives at his house at 1:43 a.m. dressed in a long-sleeve crop top and hot pants. She’s accompanied by an entourage of shirtless, body-painted backup dancers. “We have a surprise for Jimmy. We’re going to go wake him up and see what happens,” Spears whispers.
In another preview that aired on Good Morning America on Wednesday, Kimmel’s wife, Molly McNearney, who is in her bathrobe, is seen leading the “Toxic” singer and her crew through the house, up the stairs and into the couple’s bedroom.
Spears begins a private concert, complete with strobe lights, for the sleeping comedian. Kimmel wakes up and looks completely confused as to what’s happening. The rest of the wake-up call will air on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC Wednesday, August 3, at 11:35 p.m. ET.
This isn’t the first time Kimmel’s had an abrupt awakening and found a pop superstar in his room. Back in April, Rihanna burst in and delivered a performance of her hit song “Bitch Better Have My Money” while throwing dollar bills across the room.
Besides getting the chance to prank the talk show host, Spears also announced on Twitter Wednesday that she’s releasing her upcoming ninth studio album, Glory, on August 26. She added that if you preorder the record, it comes with an instant download of her new track, “Private Show.”
